What is the floppy disk ???

Do you want to know what happened as today in IT? Looking for what a term in computers mean? You are under 20 years of age and you don’t know what the floppy disk is? Then you should definitely take a visit to the Hellenic Museum of Informatics.

It is a space in Moschato full of historical technological achievements, rare exhibits and many memories that will excite technology lovers, train younger generations and move the older ones.

The IT Museum trains the younger ones, who do not even know what a disk is, what a Commodore computer is, that once computers had lamps and mobile phones had keys.

But it especially moves the older ones we remember with love:

– Our first video games on TV, playing tennis with a ball and two vertical lines for racket,

– which after school we took her to the “Ufadika” of the neighborhood by playing Buble Buble and Pac Man,

The Hellenic Museum of Informatics is the largest museum of IT in Southeast Europe, began its activities in 2008 and since 2012 is the first official body in Greece to gather the knowledge of the evolution in the IT from 1970 to the mid -1990s in a single space.
