Researchers find a “yellow brick road” at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean – Watch video

by

Her researchers Nautilus mission to the Pacific Ocean, north of Hawaii, were surprised when the camera of the robotic submarine discovered… “the road to Oz”. As in the 1900 children’s novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, researchers saw a straight line at the bottom at 3,000 feet that resembled a brick road.

“Is the road to Atlantis” one researcher can be heard saying to complete another “the yellow brick road?” “This is strange,” adds another. “Are you kidding me; This is crazy!”

The Nautilus expedition explores Lili’oukalani’s underwater ridge Papahanaumikuakea Marine National Monument (PMNM), which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the largest marine protected areas in the world and we have explored only 3% of the seabed, the researchers report. In fact, exploration is transmitted live on YouTube .

Despite being at such a depth, the bottom at the top of Nootka strangely appears to be completely dry. In the place where Nautilus was exploring, the volcanic rock seems to have broken and looks very much like bricks.

The only 90-degree cracks are probably related to the expansion and contraction of heating and cooling caused by multiple explosions.
