An 83-year-old Catholic priest decided to throw away the races and become a porn star. As he said, with his new career he found a way to get closer to God.
The Catholic priest from North Carolina, USA, notes that his faith in God has become stronger. “With sex I feel closer to God.”
“It’s almost like having a party, this is one of the things I admire about the way I do porn,” said Norm Self, who added that sex should be liberating.
“To have sex anyway, so why not make it a liberating experience instead of hiding in the shadows?” completed.
His personal revolution
Norm Self had made a small “revolution” in his personal life after several years.
The former priest was married for 30 years, until he realized his sexuality and divorced. According to what he told Sun, previously working as a clerk on a campus, where he met a group of gay men. “It was then that I realized I was gay,” he said.
However, it took him another 20 years or so to “get out”, until he decided to take part in porn movies.
He made his film debut in 2017, according to a 2019 documentary on Channel 5.
So far, he did his job on camera for free.
“My body is a temple”
Speaking earlier to the Huffington Post, Self said the porn experience was “enjoyable”.
“These days I find that my body is indeed a temple where intimacy and ecstasy are combined,” said the 83-year-old former priest.
At the same time, she claims that she will continue to star in erotic movies until society removes “negative sexual rules” from its vocabulary.
“I want negative views to be replaced by a message that says people have the right to enjoy lovemaking,” he added.
