Police have buried at least 150 people in a mass grave in the eastern Ukrainian city of Lisichansk, Luhansk regional governor Serhiy Haidai told the Telegram.
She explained that these people will be buried regularly after the war and added that the state of emergency forces the police to take on various roles that are not their own responsibility, including that of the undertakers.
The mass grave contains victims of Russian artillery bombardment and people who died of natural causes, according to Haidai.

According to Haidai, Russian troops have occupied 95% of the Luhansk oblast, and the situation is “very bad.”
The cities of Severodonetsk and Lisichansk, which had a population of about 100,000 each before the war, remain in the hands of Ukrainian forces but have been bombed for days.
There are about 40,000 citizens left in the area, very few of whom want to leave despite the danger, always according to the governor.
