After relaxing Covid-19 restrictions, the speed of test takers created a deficit and a black market (Photo: Getty)

Online Glitter manages hundreds of spaces to reserve driving tests for sale in the country’s deficit.

The Covid-19 pandemic has delayed the system, so drivers trying to get a license will have to wait a few months.

The black market opened up as some applicants had to wait until 2023 to take the exam, especially in the hardest-hit areas.

People who want to make quick profits buy the slots they need and sell them profitably.

Others set themselves up as middle-class folks, using software to quickly create canceled reservations and paying drivers who are eager to pass the above tests.

I found a Facebook account that costs more than 120-120 people to find a new trial time available.

The report warned of additional booking charges in the London area, where the deficit is particularly severe, and promised to seek high-priced practical and theoretical evidence anywhere in the UK.

The Bureau of Operational Standards (DVSA) generally pays 62 62 for tests on weekdays and 7575 for weekends.

However, a seller on Facebook Marketplace offered a trial in Ilford, London on Wednesday morning at 300,300. This is five times the cost of the official channel.

Another said he was able to find a 190190 driving test “anywhere in the UK”. This is three times the cost.

A BBC survey also found the sale of slots for profit.

A 23-year-old driver who used one of these services told the station:

“My driving instructor calls me and says, ‘Are you sure you want to cancel early?’

“The day we booked the test, it all happened within 3-4 minutes from the phone.”

The DVSA told the BBC in a statement: “We recommend that applicants always visit the official DVSA website without using a third-party cancellation check-in service.

“We have already taken steps to harden our firewall to address this issue while monitoring and preventing bots from accessing our system.

The new test will take place on Monday at 6 am and will be available 24 weeks in advance.
