If Boris Johnson loses the vote of confidence in parliament, he will step down as prime minister and there will be a race for leadership to decide who will replace him.

If Boris Johnson lose the vote of confidence of Parliament, will be removed by Prime Minister and there will be a race for leadership to decide the person to replace him.
At least 54 members of the Conservatives Parliament is required to formally ask Brady, who is chairman of the party’s 1922 Commission, to file a motion of censure against the prime minister so that this can be done.
The letters are confidential, so only the chairman of this committee knows how many have actually requested this.
