The sad mother of a Russian recruiter killed in a shipwreck in Moscow claims her son is said to have been burned to ashes.
Olga Duvinina responded to the Russian authorities and accused the victim’s family of “lying” and “threatening”.
His son Nikita Shiromyasov, 20, died on April 14 when the flagship Vladimirputin sank in the Black Sea.
Ukrainian intelligence estimates that around 250 sailors died when the ship sank, but the true death toll could be even higher.
“I don’t believe a word or a word they say,” he told local media. Rank doesn’t matter, it’s all a complete lie.
Olga claims that she has not yet received official confirmation of Nikita’s death and that she was only offered compensation if the ship signed a document accepting “no” to the Ukrainian missile.
“This is a kind of blackmail,” he said.
When asked if he signed, he replied, “Of course not. What is this statement? Did he die in a disaster?”
“I am not happy with this wording and I do not agree [this is how] My son has passed away.
“If they don’t think so, I tell them: ‘Show me.’ It is still said to burn ashes.
Sevastopol’s mother added:
“A group was sent out to work with people like me who lost their children and husbands.
“They say that they are carrying out search operations, but I found that there was no search.
“I don’t think I have found body remains since April 25. This is ridiculous.”
Russia reportedly refused to allow Moscow to descend into a military conflict.
President Putin said the drafts would not be sent to war, but there were 510 crew members on board, including some 300 drafts.
