Russian troops are desperately planning a “fake marriage” to escape the war in Ukraine.

The intercepted phone revealed an alleged conversation between a Russian soldier and his friend.

Ukrainian intelligence has released details of the phone today, the Telegraph reported.

Soldiers said officers “had no choice at all” and were looking for a way to free him and send him home.

“You are wounded, dead, or they give you an official order to withdraw,” he tells his friend.

The soldier then explains that he was trying to plan a fake marriage to escape the front line.

According to the telegram, the soldier said, “I already talked to one of my friends. I’ll tell her here.”

“No way, this is not an option,” he said.

In another call, soldiers say they were “morally depressed” after troops ran out of water.

Experts say Putin’s military remains overblown, leading to a decline in morale.

The war in Ukraine is already on day 105.

Andrey Ushakov, a Russian soldier captured last month, said his morale was so low that soldiers were committing suicide.

Some people were also deliberately injured, hoping to be classified as “Cargo 300”. This means that they will return to Russia.

Ushakov, 20, said he knew two soldiers who killed themselves at the front.

He states: “Everyone panicked and wanted to leave, but there was no way out.

“The only way was 300. Some couldn’t take it and committed suicide.

“I shot myself because the two guys couldn’t do it. [cope]There was no other solution.

“Mentally they couldn’t deal with what was going on there.”
