The actor arrived in Rzeszow in southern Poland on Saturday. He is visiting the region to highlight the needs of those who have fled the war in Ukraine, according to the UNHCR.
The famous Hollywood star, Ben Stillerwho is the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Goodwill Ambassador, visited Poland and Ukraine, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees told the BBC.
The actor arrived in Rzeszow in the south Poland on Saturday. He is visiting the region to highlight the needs of those who have fled the war in Ukraine, according to the UNHCR.
While in Poland, he met with refugee families who had been forced to flee Ukraine because of the war.
He said in a statement on Instagram: “Millions of people have been forced to flee their homes, with more than 90% being women and children. I am here to learn, to share stories depicting the human impact of war and to strengthen calls for solidarity… Everyone has the right to seek security. Anyone. Anywhere. Whenever”.
Angelina Jolie, who is also a UN goodwill ambassador, recently visited Ukraine.
