The Conservative Party suffered a double defeat on inoculated elections held on Thursday for the re-election of seats in the Wakefield and Tiverton and Honiton constituencies, bringing to the fore the internal dissatisfaction with the person Boris Johnson.

It was another electoral blow for Boris Johnson, whose party lost nearly 500 city council seats in the May local elections.
