A previous Russian strike in early June targeted a factory on the outskirts of Kiev and injured one person.
In late April, another Russian bombing struck the same residential complex in the capital during a visit by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. A Ukrainian Radio Liberty journalist was killed in her apartment at the time.
Strikes at Ukrainian army training centers in three regions
The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that it has used high-precision weapons to hit Ukrainian army training centers in the Chernihiv, Zhytomyr and Lviv regions of Ukraine, Russian news agencies reported.
Earlier in the day, Ukraine announced that Russian missiles had hit the country’s capital, Kyiv.
