“Finland and Sweden, which are overthrowing decades of historical neutrality, now want to join us. It will be a difficult discussion, “said the British Prime Minister.

THE Boris Johnson acknowledged that the talks on the accession of Sweden and Finland to the NATO will lead to a “difficult discussion” with Turkey at the North Atlantic Alliance summit, however, welcoming a “progress”.

“Finland and Sweden, which are overthrowing decades of historical neutrality, now want to join us. It will be a difficult discussion “the British Prime Minister told reporters on the plane that took him to Madrid.

Apart from what is happening in Europe, there are many problems that the British Prime Minister has in his head and inside the country. Specifically, the Scotland decided to carry out referendum for its independence from the United Kingdom on 19 October 2023.

The Prime Minister of Scotland and leader of the Scottish National Party (SNP) told the Hollywood local parliament that the referendum would be of an advisory nature, meaning that if the independence vote were to be passed, legislation would have to be passed.

He announced it in advance submission of a bill regarding the referendum, with the question being the same as in 2014: “Should Scotland be an independent country?”

Ms Στέρτζιον made the announcement despite the fact that the central government of London has not agreed to hold a new referendum, as required by law.

As she said, her government has asked the Supreme Court for an opinion on whether the submission of a relevant bill is in accordance with the law, in order to bypass the reaction of London.

He noted that even if the Supreme Court rules in the negative, “The issue will not end, everything else.”
