Passengers say Jet2 ‘tainted’ me because the sandwich didn’t look like an ad

by

Of course, airline catering can’t get the best reputation at the best of times.

However, one of the recent food orders from Jet2 passengers is called a “breach” online.

Tegan Insley Chicken and Bacon Sandwich has been talked about on the internet for all the wrong reasons.

The 20-year-old says the airline “contaminated” her by ordering food.

He flew from Birmingham airport to Marbella, Spain, on June 13 and had not eaten for a few hours before the flight.

After reviewing the menu, Tegan accepted a chicken and bacon roll with tiger bread and lots of stuffing.

Lunch at 4:30 seemed to satisfy his hunger, so he made a reservation and settled down to relax on the plane.

But when the food arrived, he was surprised to find almost empty bread.

Te-Gang says they gave him a soft bun with no meat and instead just put mayonnaise and lettuce on it.

I couldn’t find the promised chicken spoon and onions on the menu anywhere.

In the photo you can see that the insurance worker roll thrown on the plane tray does not look like the advertised photo.

Te-Gang said that he had finished his role in the Pringles.

Yesterday he posted a video of his disappointing cooking on TikTok with captions: “Jet2 contaminated our food on the plane, please explain it to me.”

This post has currently received over 1.7 million views and over 94,000 likes.

In the clip there were more than 500 comments from viewers who said they had a bad experience with the meals on board.

One said, “Isn’t this really a joke?”

Another person wrote: Still the best airline when it comes to ATM wait times, flight takeoff times and more.

And another viewer commented, “This is rape.”

Tegan said: “I didn’t eat for 5 hours because of the security queue so I was really hungry so I put a spike tube in the bread.

They did not toast.

In today’s speech, Jet2 apologized for the inconvenience caused by the disgusting sandwich.

An airline spokesperson said:

“During the flight, our food has always been a big hit with our customers. We apologize for any inconvenience caused in this particular case.

“We will discuss this with our suppliers.”
