The identities of two of the six victims who tragically died from the gunfire of 22-year-old Robert (“Bobby”) Krimo in a Chicago suburb have been identified.
Two of its six total victims became known bloody attack during a 4th of July parade in a suburb of Chicago, yesterday in the US.
Nicholas Toledo, father of 8 children and with many grandchildren, was one of the unlucky ones who lost their lives from his gunfire 22-year-old Robert (“Bobby”) Crimo.
The elderly man, as his granddaughter stated, died instantly as a bullet hit him in the head while he was sitting in his wheelchair watching the event
“My grandfather, O Nicholas Toledofather of eight and grandfather of many, left us this morning on the 4th of July, a day that should have been a day of joy turned into a horrible nightmare for all of us,” wrote Shohil Toledo.
“Nicolas was a loving, creative, adventurous and funny person. We his family are devastated, numb,” he added.
His family has set up a GoFundMe page to raise money to repatriate his body to Mexico. As of this morning, $33,000 had been raised.
In the tragic account of the massacre, it was announced that the Jackie Sandheim, a rabbi at the Highland Park Synagogue
North Shore Congregation Israel, located in Illinois, confirmed her death in an email to its members. “There are no words to express our sadness at Jackie’s passing and our deepest sympathies to her family and loved ones. Jackie’s work, kindness and warmth touched us all – from her lessons at Gates of Learning Kindergarten to guiding countless of us through times of joy and sorrow in our lives, all with enduring devotion,” the statement added.
The synagogue announced that Jackie Sandheim leaves behind her husband and daughter.
