The investigation began following Sir Mofarer’s exposure to illegal trafficking in the UK.
He said on Monday that when he arrived in England from Somalia, the four Olympic champions were named after his second son.
In the BBC documentary The RealMo Farah, the 39-year-old explained that he decided to tell the truth “whatever it takes”.
Media reports began investigating the case this morning.
Experts are working on the case.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Police Department said: At this time, there are no reports to the MPS (Metropolitan Police Department).
“Experts have launched an investigation and are evaluating the information currently available.
In a documentary broadcast Wednesday night, Sir Mo sees him being granted British citizenship by his school PE teacher, Alan Watkinson, despite still using the name Mo Farah.
“The real story is that I was born Hussein Abdi Kahin in Somaliland, north of Somalia,” he said.
“Despite what I’ve said in the past, my parents never lived in the UK.
“When I was four years old, my father died in the civil war because we were a member of the family.
“I was separated from my mother and smuggled into the UK under the name of another child called Mo Farah.”
Before the show, Lord Moe said that he made a documentary about his family.
He wrote on Instagram:
But my proudest achievement is always being the husband and father of my wonderful family.
I made this documentary for them. So you can learn more about the experience that made us family today.
“Not all kids have the easiest start in life, but that doesn’t mean they can’t pursue their dreams.
“I hope you’ll pay attention to it later. I look forward to hearing from you.”
The Home Office has previously confirmed that after Sir Moh disclosed the information, it would take no action against Sir Moe.
