A report investigating a Texas school shooting that killed 19 children and two teachers was “a total failure and very bad decision-making” by nearly 400 police on the ground who failed to stop the genocide.

According to a 77-page report, law enforcement officers “failed to prioritize saving the lives of innocent victims over their own safety.”

“Ultimately, it’s safe to say that Rob Elementary School was completely unprepared for the dangers of school shooters,” said Dustin Burrows, a Texas state representative who chaired the House Committee investigation.

The commission spent last month investigating the May 24 shooting that killed 21 people at Rob Elementary School. The reaction to the shooting has been widely criticized and relatives of the victims share how they feel that the police have not acted appropriately.

A report released Sunday concluded that no one other than the perpetrator was responsible, but multiple agencies contributed to the botched response.

“Nobody can attribute bad or bad motivations to us. Instead, we have encountered systemic failures and very bad decisions.”

Also Sunday, Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin announced that Interim Police Chief Mariano Pargas was on vacation while the city began investigating his response.

Approximately 400 police officers rushed to the school in response to the shooting, but authorities waited 77 minutes and killed 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos.

“At this time, we don’t know if reducing this delay could have saved more lives for first responders,” the report said.

A total of 376 law enforcement officers responded to the shooting. Most of these officers were federal and state law enforcement officers. According to the report, 150 US border guards and 91 state troopers also responded to the call.

The report details many flaws and flaws fully identified by the authorities. He emphasizes the “culture of unfortunate failure of school personnel” to open the door and points out that law enforcement did not follow through on the aggressive shooter’s plans.

The school district’s aggressive shooting plan names Police Chief Pete Aledondo responsible in the event of a shooting. Despite being one of the first co-pilots on the scene, Aledondo was not responsible and “could not perform or delegate the role of case commander,” the report says.

Police witnesses said they could not say who assumed Arredondo was responsible or who led the chaotic response, the report added.

Despite the apparent confusion, officials from other response agencies are Uvalde CISD police chiefs and commanders to point out the lack and need for a command post or to propose a command post, I did not approach the recognized one. Help me,” the report said.

Arredondo was on leave and later resigned from the Uvalde City Council.

Approximately three minutes after the shooting began, police officers who responded to the scene “acted appropriately and attempted to enter the classroom and apprehend the perpetrators,” the report says.

However, officers quickly lost momentum, according to the report. After the shooters shot the police, they began treating the scene as a barricade target instead of acting with greater urgency than they would have been assigned during the “active shooter” scenario.

The tragedy has been the deadliest school shooting since the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
