The Brothers of Italy “convince” 25% of the respondents, while the second political force in Italians’ voting intention is the centre-left Democratic Party, with a percentage of 23.2%
The gallop of the Swg company confirms that the extreme right Brotherhood of Italy partyled by Giorgia Meloni, is the first political force in the voting intention of Italians.
In more detail, according to the specific poll, the Brothers of Italy “convince” 25% of respondentswhile the second political force in Italians’ voting intention is the centre-left Democratic Party, with rate 23.2%.
The League, in this gallop, does not exceed 12.4%, the Five Star Movement secures 10.4% of the vote intention, and Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italia 6.1%. At the same time, the new centrist force Azione (Action), is chosen by 6% of the statistical sample.
According to an analysis by the polling company, “the announcement of early parliamentary elections took Italians by surprise” and “more than 50% of respondents feel annoyed, irritated and disappointed”.
At the same time, the prevailing opinion is that the political crisis and the dissolution of the parliament were caused, mainly, by the Five Star Movement, while many consider that the League also has a substantial share of responsibility.
Finally, with regard to the various alliances, center-left voters approve of the League’s alliance with Forza Italia and the far-right Brotherhood of Italy, while most supporters of the “five stars”, as well as the center-left “Democratic Party”, oppose collusion with other policies
