In a video posted on social media, Fenerbahce fans can be heard rhythmically chanting the name of the Russian president after their team conceded a goal.
The reaction of Fenerbahce fans to one of the two goals scored by Dynamo Kyiv in yesterday’s match between the two teams for the Champions League qualifiers has made a particularly bad impression on European public opinion.
In the video posted on social media, Fenerbahçe fans can be heard shouting they rhythmically chant the name of Vladimir Putin after a goal conceded by their team, by the Ukrainian team, cheering the president of Russia for the war he is waging in Ukraine.

We remind you that Dynamo Kyiv qualified for yesterday’s match by eliminating Fenerbahce. The first match between the two teams was a scoreless draw, and yesterday the Ukrainians prevailed 2-1 and took the ticket.

However, it seems that there were also Fenerbahce fans with a different view against Putin and Russia as they chanted slogans against the Russian president and even with abusive content.
