Nadine Dorries had to drastically shorten the live interview when the off-camera line broke out on Sky News.

Kay Burley was interviewing Birmingham’s Culture Secretary for a federal game when it all started.

“I’m sorry, Kay, the government…I think we have to go now,” Mrs. Doris said, fingering the receiver anxiously.

He then told the studio host, “The operator has some problems.”
