The woman was reportedly found dead under a cable car, falling 30 feet from the theme park.

According to witnesses, a woman in her twenties fell about three-quarters of the way down a 60-foot path near the Anakesta Outdoor Adventure Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee around 7:30 p.m. Thursday night. .. ..

Witnesses said he “jumped off the ski lift,” according to city official Seth Butler.

Another witness, Jay Duro, told the television station that “there was concern on the faces of everyone who came.”

Anakesta officials said they continued to use the ski lift to eject all passengers.

“We mourn this tragic loss of life,” the theme park said in a statement. “We would like to express our deepest condolences to all members of the family.”

As part of an ongoing investigation, police determined the woman may have committed suicide.

The ride was closed Friday and is being inspected by the Tennessee Department of Workforce Development for mechanical issues, WBIR reported. According to the authorities, the investigation may take up to two months.

The travel permit expired on August 4 and was last reviewed on April 21. Chris Cannon of the Workforce Development Agency told WVLT. The new permit for the chair lift was approved prior to the incident.
