Lilia is celebrating her eighth birthday.

A 22-year-old man has been charged with the murder of 9-year-old Lilia Barolti, who was stabbed to death in the street on Thursday.

Daividas Skebas, a Lithuanian citizen accused of murdering a girl, will appear in court tomorrow.

He was reportedly playing near his sister’s house, where his mother worked, and locals recounted how hula hoops and toy cars were left at the scene.

Skebas was arrested after four CCTV images were released that detectives said they wanted to track down.

The man was shown in the Warmgate and Fountain Lane areas of Boston at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, five minutes before Lillia was found dead.

Lincolnshire Police also said two people arrested earlier this week have been released without further action.

Authorities previously said they weren’t looking for anyone else in connection with the death.

Lincolnshire Police said in a statement tonight: “On July 28 at approximately 6:20pm, Lillia tragically passed away following an incident on Boston’s Fountain Lane. It is believed she was stabbed.
