The United24 humanitarian aid program was launched by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky as the main gathering place for charitable donations in support of Ukraine. Funds are transferred to the official accounts of the National Bank of Ukraine and allocated by relevant ministries to cover the most pressing needs.

Georgian fashion designer Demna Gvasalia, creative director of Balenciaga, has been a staunch supporter of Ukraine since Russia launched its invasion of the country in February.

Demna Gvasalia, a refugee himself from war-torn Georgia, explored Russia’s invasion of his homeland in Vetements’ SS19 collection.

The fashion designer dedicated Balenciaga’s Fall/Winter 2022 collection to the war-torn country, which was presented just days after Russia began military operations across Ukraine’s borders, and then announced donations to Ukraine in partnership with the World Food Program.
