In Florence, a man was hit by a flying tree branch at a market, while in the nearby town of Botai a tree fell on a caravan.

Damage was also reported at a flea market in Marina di Carrara, while a heavy storm caused flooding in the seaside resorts of Verzilla, lifting umbrellas and chairs from beaches.
In Liguria, waves hit the coast between Chiavari and Sestri Levante, damaging a power line.
