Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he had a “wonderful conversation” with his American counterpart Joe Biden and thanked him for the support the US is providing to Kyiv in its war against Russia.

For her part, White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre said Russia should agree to the creation of a demilitarized zone around the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, which has been controlled by Russian forces since last March.
According to Jean-Pierre, in the phone call that Biden had earlier today with Zelensky, the American president reiterated that the US supports Ukraine against Russian aggression.
