Brother of Chilean President Gabriel Boric, journalist Simón Boric was attacked on the outskirts of the University of Chile, where he works, this Thursday afternoon (1st).
According to a report by the local newspaper La Tercera, he and other employees were trying to prevent the looting of a store amid a demonstration related to the plebiscite.
Three adults were detained by the policy after the incident. Two of them had police records: one for setting fire to a bus, and the other for disobeying health regulations.
