In the coming days, the Italian technocrat prime minister is going to present, in detail, all the energy saving measures, as well as the financial aid to the businesses and households of the country.

The Italian government today confirmed the main energy saving measures discussed last week.

As recently reported by APE-MPE, in Italy the temperature of radiators in public services, but also in private offices and residences, is to be reduced by one degree, with a parallel reduction in their operation by one hour a day. It was also decided that this year the radiators will remain on for a total of fifteen days less than last year.

The Italian Ministry of Environmental Transition states in the relevant regulation that hospitals and nursing homes are exempt from these restrictions.

The goal of Mario Draghi’s government is to reduce the total consumption of natural gas in the country by 5.3 billion cubic meters.
