Mormon missionaries who approached a lesbian couple’s home were quickly turned away when they noticed the LGBTQ-friendly doormat.

A rainbow-framed doormat read, “The Funniest Place in Town.”

Jamie Faust, 28, and his wife, Melissa, 32, shopped for doormats at Target in June. Two months later, a doorbell camera caught two missionaries entering the home.

A short video shows two men in shirts and ties walking towards the front door. One of them reads aloud the “most elegant” part of the mat. “No” was the next word heard in the clip and the couple walks off. Foust shared the clip on TikTok on August 24.

Faust believes the missionaries left because they thought he and his wife “couldn’t be helped.”

“I hope they leave us alone,” he said.

Post added that missionaries “scared” him as a child.
