Now I can say that it is a total, third world war”, Pope Francis emphasized today, with special reference to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and its consequences, but also to other conflicts in many regions of the world.

“After the two World Wars we thought that the world had learned to move, gradually, towards respect for human rights, international law, multiple forms of cooperation. History, however, unfortunately shows signs of regression”, concluded the Argentine pontiff.
