Big drop for the Greens – Only 35% say they are satisfied with the work of Chancellor Olaf Solz
A sharp drop in the Greens’ ratings and growing dissatisfaction with the government’s work is found in the latest poll, which was conducted by the Forsa Institute on behalf of the private broadcasters RTL/n-tv.
A significant deterioration is also recorded in the popularity of the Minister of Economy, Robert Habeck.
According to the poll, the Christian Union (CDU/CSU) gathers 28% (+2 from last week’s count), while in second place remain the Greens with 20% (-4) and in third place the Social Democratic Party (SPD) with 19% (+1). The Alternative for Germany follows with 13% (+2), the Liberal Party (FDP) is limited to 6% (-1) and the Left remains at the limit with 5%.
In the same poll it appears that only 35% say they are satisfied with the work of chancellor Olaf Solz, while 63% express the opposite opinion, percentages that constitute Mr. Soltz’s worst “score” to date. However, 71% of supporters of his party, SPD, are satisfied with his leadership style and abilities.
55% of citizens also express dissatisfaction with the work of the “green” Minister of Economy Robert Hambeck, who until now was the most popular politician in the government.
