Bombings near the nuclear plant in Zaporizhia – Radioactivity fell to normal

Her Ministry of Defense of Russia announced today that Russian forces had struck Ukrainian forces positions in several parts of the country and accused Kyiv of shelling targets near its nuclear plant Zaporizhia.

Russian forces hit targets in Kherson, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv and Donetskaccording to the ministry, which added that Ukrainian forces carried out a failed attack near Pravdine in Kherson.

According to the ministry, radioactivity levels at Zaporizhia — Europe’s largest nuclear power plant — remain normal.

The ministry added that two shelling incidents were recorded today near the factory.

A spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry denied that Ukrainian forces bombed areas near the factory’s premises.

Russia and Ukraine they blame each other for bombings near the factory located in eastern Ukraine.

The UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency adopted a resolution on Thursday calling on Russia to end its occupation of the plant.
