The crash documentary is reminiscent of video game scenes. The sports car flew through the air, went through a billboard and landed upside down

A teenager was killed and two others were seriously injured in car accident which happened Sunday night in Florida.

The three teenagers, none of whom had a license, stole one 2016 Maserati in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County and as soon as they were spotted by the police in their attempt to escape they lost control causing the luxury sports car to be launched at 200 km/h through the air and land upside down.

The video released by the police taken from their helicopter is shocking and reminds of scenes from video games:

Two patrol cars approach the stolen vehicle with the officers motioning for the driver to stop. 15-year-old Kendrick Lang, who was in the driver’s seat, sped off, with police slowing down to avoid a pursuit.

The teenagers, none of whom had a driver’s licence, continue on their way with the driver ‘throwing up’, reaching 200km/h, before losing control and the Maserati taking off, going through a billboard and landing upside down. as a result of which the 15-year-old passenger, Mario Boniglia, lost his life.

The driver and 16-year-old Malachi Daniels were injured and are being treated in non-critical condition, according to authorities.

The theft and chase were caught on helicopter video by chance, cops said. Police had responded to another robbery in the area and “raised” the helicopter before they became aware of the teenagers’ suspicious actions, according to the sheriff.

According to the sheriff, the 15-year-old driver could face a charge of third-degree murder, which applies when someone is killed in the commission of a felony.
