The Hungarian Prime Minister attended the Prague Summit on Thursday.
Against European sanctions on Russia said, once again, the prime minister of Hungary Viktor Orbanwho was on Thursday at the Prague Synod.
“(European) sanctions have not lived up to expectations, the war is not over. Europe is slowly bleeding and Russia meanwhile is winning handsomely. It is clear that Brussels’ failed sanctions policy must change!” was Orban’s message on Facebook.
It is noted that Orban’s statements are playing on Friday in all Russian media.
It is noted that the eighth package of sanctions which Europe decided earlier this month introduces new EU import bans worth 7 billion euros to curb Russia’s revenue, as well as export restrictions, which will further deprive the Russian military machine and industry of key components and technologies and from the economy of European services and know-how.
The sanctions also deprive the Russian military and its suppliers of further specific items and equipment needed to continue the war on Ukrainian soil. They also lay the groundwork for the required legal framework to implement the oil price cap envisaged by the G7.
