Human rights groups say more than 150 people have been killed, hundreds injured and thousands arrested

Endless oppression in Iran. An Iranian human rights group said on Saturday that Iranian security forces fired on protesters in two Kurdish cities.

“Security forces are shooting at protesters in the cities of Sanadai and Shakiz,” the Iranian human rights group Hengaw reported.

According to the organization, the police forces suppressing the demonstrations are also using tear gas.

The Tavsir1500 Twitter account covering developments in Iran reported shootings at protesters in the two Kurdish cities, located in the northwest of the country.

Human rights organizations have announced that more than 150 people have been killed, hundreds have been injured and thousands arrested by Iranian security forces against protests that erupted last month after the death of Mahsha Amini, a young woman from Shakiz who was arrested for “indecent clothing”.
