At the same time, special crews immediately started repairing the damage, and after a few hours the undamaged part of the road network, as well as the elevated railway network that crosses the bridge, was opened to traffic.

The Ukrainian presidency hinted today that the explosion that partially destroyed the Crimean bridge, which connects the peninsula with Russia, was the result of an “internal” dispute in the circles of power in Moscow, assuring that behind it ” Russian finger”.

At least three dead from the explosion

At least three people have died in the explosion on the Crimean bridge in the Kerch Strait, as announced at noon by the Research Committee of the Russian Federation. The driver of the truck that exploded on the Crimean bridge has been identified, the Investigative Committee said. According to the latest information, two of the dead are the passengers of a passing car, a man and a woman, who have been identified.
