The heads of the Italian conservative faction, Giorgia Meloni, Matteo Salvini and Silvio Berlusconi they met, in the late afternoon, at the “Cavaliere” villa, outside Milan. The main topic of discussion, the ferments and the various contacts and movements, in view of the formation of the new government of the country.

According to the Italian press, the leaders of the League, the Brothers of Italy and Forza Italia they want, as it leaks, a strong government team, which will be able to face, first of all, the continuous increase in the price of energy.

The League, in particular, underlined in its announcement that its priority is to protect the purchasing power of Italians, both workers and pensioners. Giorgia Meloni, in her post on Facebook, emphasized that “the goal of the new government will be to once again offer a future, vision and greatness to Italy” and that “soon the country will finally turn the page”.

The vice-president of the Italian parliament and executive of the Brothers of Italy, Fabio Rabelli, finally, he confirmed that his party is of the opinion that the country should be represented, at the European Summit on October 20, by the outgoing Prime Minister, Mario Draghi. As for the new government, he stated that it is likely to be formed within the last ten days of October.
