Alarm sounded again in Kyiv about an hour ago – 19 dead from yesterday’s missile attack across Ukraine

Warning sirens sounded again this morning across Ukrainian territory, putting the entire country on high alert as citizens prepared to leave their homes for school and work.

The scene echoes that of Monday, when Russian missiles hit major Ukrainian cities during the morning rush hour. Alarm sounded again in Kyiv about an hour ago.

“Caution. During the day there is a high probability of missile attacks on the territory of Ukraine. Please stay in shelters for your safety, do not ignore the warning sirens,” emergency services said on Telegram.

According to the Ukrainian services, 19 people were killed and 105 injured by yesterday’s strikes.

Red depicts areas where sirens have been heard, with darker colors marking areas of greater alert.

Moscow: New warnings

Direct confrontation with the US and NATO is not in Moscow’s interest or pursuit, but the Russia will react to the growing meddling of the West in the conflict in Ukraine, the Russian deputy foreign minister said Sergey Ryabkovaccording to the Russian news agency RIA.

“We warn and hope that they will realize the danger of uncontrolled escalation (of the conflict) in Washington and other Western capitals,” Mr Ryabkov stressed.
