Their protest today follows the one on Friday when two women, members of the organization, threw two tins of tomato soup on the famous painting “Sunflowers” by the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh at the National Gallery in London.

Activists of the organization blocked off the area today and sprayed the glass facade of the Aston Martin super luxury car exhibition with orange paint.

Activists, who are calling for the government to end all new oil and gas projects in the country, stuck their hands on the tarmac in central London at around 11am this morning local time.

Their protest comes after Interior Minister Suella Braverman announced her plan against such protests.

Based on this, it will become a criminal offense to obstruct the operation of key infrastructure such as airports, railway stations and refineries.

According to the minister’s plan, activists sticking their bodies to buildings or streets will be punished with either a six-month prison sentence or an unspecified fine.

“We will not bow to protesters who are trying to hold British citizens hostage,” Braverman has said.
