“I go to the demonstrations with my sister. I participate every day. Two weeks ago they hit us with motorbikes and when we fell down they hit us.”

The struggle of women against the oppression of the Iranian regime continues.

One of the most active persons behind the organization of the anti-government demonstrations spoke to SKAI and Christos Nikolaidis.

“I go to the demonstrations with my sister. I participate every day. Two weeks ago they hit us with motorbikes and when we fell down they hit us.”

One of the thousands of women who daily risk their own lives, speaks to SKAI about the event that triggered the outbreak of protests in Iran

“Mahsha’s death was the spark for the people of Iran who are suffering from our government. After that, everyone took to the streets and showed their anger and opposition,” he says.

At least 108 people have lost their lives from the violent repression.

“We believe that this time everything will change. Many people were killed or injured in these protests. The Iranian government’s violence has failed.”

At the same time, however, she declares she is adamant, just like all those who participate in the mass demonstrations.

“Those who go out on the streets know that something can happen. To be killed, captured or injured. But they want to change the situation.”

In Tehran, the head of the judiciary ordered Iranian judges to issue harsh sentences against those taking part in the protests.
