Environmental activists of the organization “Just Stop Oil” they sprayed the facade of the famous Harrods store in London with orange paint, while they also held a sit-in protest in the street.

The environmental activists, known for various actions they carry out, wanted in this way to protest the new permits and approvals of oil and natural gas.

Furious drivers tried to chase away the protesters, who were all wearing orange jackets and holding a banner, causing chaos in the surrounding streets.

This comes as police have made more than 500 arrests so far this month as Just Stop Oil continues to carry out various actions.

Last Sunday, protesters sprayed an Aston Martin showroom in Park Lane with orange paint. The Metropolitan Police made 24 arrests for the incident. A spokesman for the group said: “Just Stop Oil supporters stopped traffic in London’s Knightsbridge and spray-painted the Harrods building to demand the government halt all new permits and approvals for oil and natural gas gas”.
