Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said he will not compete for the leadership of the Conservative Party that would return him to the post of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. The news was published by The Guardian newspaper this Sunday (23).
With that, his former finance minister, Rishi Sunak, gains even more chances to take over the post resigned by Liz Truss last Thursday (20).
