At least seven people were killed today in a collision between a bus and two trucks in the province of Agri in eastern Turkey, according to a provisional report announced by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“Seven of our fellow citizens lost their lives inside a bus that caught fire after it overturned,” the Turkish head of state said during a speech.

Eleven were also injured in the crash, two of whom are hospitalized in critical condition, Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said.
Tthe passenger bus collided with two trucks in Tutakin the province of Agri, near the borders with Iran and Armenia, causing a large fire that completely burned the three vehicles.
Flames and thick black smoke immediately covered the section of the highway where the accident happened.
The fire was later extinguished by firefighters who rushed to the scene.
