The figures concern, as the channel clarifies, only Russian citizens and not people who were killed on the battlefield and came from “autonomous regions, the self-proclaimed “People’s Republics” of Donetsk and Lugansk, nor mercenary fighters of the Wagner organization.
There was no official confirmation of this information either by the National Guard or the Russian Ministry of Defense.
