Nicole Malliotakis, Gus Bilirakis, John Sarbanis and Chris Pappas emerged unscathed from the election battles

Good news for expatriate Federal Members of Parliament, since early in the morning it was finalized that at least four of the five are renewing their term in Congress.

In particular, according to the National Herald, the Nicole Malliotaki (Nicole Malliotakis), Konstantinos Bilirakis (Gus Bilirakis), John Sarbanis (John Sarbanes) and Chris Pappas they emerged unscathed from the electoral battles, renewing their term, which also includes the promotion of Greek national issues in Congress.

On the contrary, all possibilities remain open regarding the long-time Member of Parliament of the 1st District, Dina Titus (Dina Titus), who at 63% of integration was ahead of her Republican opponent, Mark Robertson (Mark Robertson), but the count still had a way to go.

On the other side, the Republican Alec Skarlatos (Alek Skarlatos), in Oregon’s 4th District, was back in the running for the count, although no media outlet had yet declared a winner in his own race.

In particular, in the results that have already been closed:

In Floridahomegrown Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist was defeated, as expected, by powerful Republican incumbent Gov. Ron De Santis

In the 12th District of the same State, Constantinos Bilirakis (Gus Bilirakis) prevailed with a significant margin over Democrat Kimberly Walker (Kimberly Walker) and solemnly renewed another term. In 97% of the electoral divisions, Mr. Bilirakis gathered more than 70%.

In New York’s 11th District, Republican Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis was declared the winner long before the counting proceeded at length. Already, at 70% of the count, her opponent and former Member of Parliament Max Rose (Max Rose), remained by 27 percentage points. It is recalled that in 2020, Malliotaki, who first appeared in the federal public at the time, had prevailed by a marginal margin.

Nevertheless, the electoral forecasting services had “locked” the Republican political matchup for weeks, even though it was initially set for the most ambivalent.

In Maryland’s 3rd District, maintaining a margin of more than 10 percentage points for the longest period of counting, John Sarbanes was re-elected for another year in Congress, defeating Yuripzy Morgan.

In New Hampshire’s 1st District, Chris Pappas, after a stormy campaign, emerged victorious over his Republican opponent, Caroline Levit, with the Associated Press declaring him the winner just before 1 p.m. Pappas was considered one of the Democratic Party’s most vulnerable MPs, and his victory was met with satisfaction, coming with a relatively comfortable majority.

Robert Menendez Jr. was elected

At the same time, Greece gains another ally in Congress, who is expected to become a member of the Hellenic Council.

The reason for Robert J. Menendez Jr. (Robert J. Menendez), son of the Philhellenic head of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, Bob Menendez, who, in the 8th District of New Jersey, was declared the winner against the Republican Marcos Arroyo (Marcos Arroyo). .
