One seat in the Senate seems to be taken by Democrats and Republicans
Given the absolute “derby” in Georgia, where the seat of the Senate will be decided in the 2nd round, on December 6, and after the finalization of the result in favor of the Republicans in Wisconsin, the attention now turns to Arizona and Nevada.
The situation is clearer in Arizona, where the Democratic candidate has 51.4% of the vote in the count so far, but is only at 69%. Therefore, predicting the winner is quite risky and we will have to wait for a larger sample, before we “charge” the seat to the “blues”.
In Nevada, the Republican candidate has the lead, but at 80% of the vote count he is marginally below 50% and therefore even a 2nd round is open.
The battle for the Senate continues and everything shows that it will be decided on December 6, in Georgia. Given that the House of Representatives will fall under the control of the Republicans, the result for the control of the Senate is considered critical, while already the Democrats, although they did not suffer a sweeping defeat, nevertheless see losing key tools for the implementation of their policies, as , at best, the Senate will be divided into “blue” and “red”.
