Five civilians, including a child, were killed and as many wounded in a rocket attack on the rebel-held town of Azaz in northwestern Syria, a local hospital nurse and an activist said.
Reuters was unable to ascertain where the attack came from, which took place in an area near the Turkish border controlled by Turkish-backed Islamist rebels.
They had been preceded, in the previous days, by attacks by Turkish drones and F-16 fighters against the YPG militia of the Syrian Kurds.
