He warned that Russia would likely continue to attack Ukraine’s electricity grid, gas infrastructure and essential services
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has warned that Russia will likely continue to bomb Ukraine’s electricity grid, natural gas infrastructure as well as other essential services.
Speaking to reporters in Bucharest ahead of a two-day meeting of NATO foreign ministers, he said:
“Doing this as we enter winter proves that President (Vladimir) Putin is now trying to use … winter as a weapon of war against Ukraine,” Jens Stoltenberg said.
In his speech on Sunday night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned Ukrainians to prepare for a series of new Russian missiles in the country. “We understand that the terrorists are preparing new strikes. We know that for sure. And as long as they have missiles, they won’t stop, unfortunately.”
