“We have delivered generators and spare parts and allies are helping to rebuild damaged infrastructure,” Stoltenberg said.
NATO allies will increase aid to Ukraine, as the Russian president Vladimir Putin is using winter as a weapon because its forces are failing on the battlefield, NATO’s Secretary General said today Jens Stoltenberg.
“We delivered generators and spare parts and allies are helping to rebuild damaged infrastructure,” Stoltenberg told reporters ahead of a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Bucharest, adding that the meeting would serve as a platform to increase Western aid to rebuilding its energy infrastructure Ukrainian.
“Deliberate attacks on basic services – heating, light, water, gas – aim to cause as much suffering as possible to Ukrainian civilians in an attempt to break their commitment, their unity in the fight against the Russian invasion,” Stoltenberg also said upon his arrival for the NATO foreign ministers’ meeting.
