Jones filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection from his creditors in a Houston court. According to the request, Jones has assets estimated between $1-10 million and liabilities between $1-10 billion.
It is also reported that Free Speech Systems, a company associated with Infowars, filed for bankruptcy in July.

In October, a Connecticut court ordered Jones and Free Speech Systems to pay nearly $1 billion. Relatives of victims of the Sandy Hook attack had appealed against him. In a separate case, a Texas judge ruled in August that it will have to pay about $50 million to the parents of a 6-year-old boy killed in the massacre.
Jones has now admitted that the massacre was real.
Jones is the most popular and influential conspiracy theorist and owns the news websites InfoWars, “NewsWars” and “PrisonPlanet”.
