The man appeared at the police station at 6.30 on Saturday morning confessing his act, reports the rtl network. The authorities who rushed to the scene found two bodies in one of the rooms of the house, while a medical examiner was also found on the spot.
“We cannot yet talk about the causes of death. We can say that this is a pregnant woman and her five-year-old child” Deputy District Attorney Bernadette Bayens said.
At the same time, the head of the police of the area noted that no details will be given until the investigation is completed. The perpetrator underwent blood tests to determine if he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The couple was married and had been living in the apartment for 6 months. The television network notes that according to witnesses, there was no tension between the two spouses.
