The Biden administration will send Ukraine the most advanced air defense weapon in its arsenal, the Patriot missile system, a senior US administration official said late Tuesday, according to the Washington Post.
This is the “most significant addition” to US military support to Kyiv in months, and the news was announced just hours before the Zelensky-Biden meeting.

Today, an adviser to Zelensky said that in the “extremely important” meeting with Biden, the Ukrainian president will ask for “guns, guns and more guns. It is important to personally explain why we need certain types of weapons. In particular, armored vehicles, the latest anti-missile defense systems and long-range missiles,” he adds.
